About Us

About the Breed

The hardworking Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, also known as "the 4-wheel drive of dogs", or "supreme gundog", is known for their harsh, low-shedding coat.  Our dogs are outgoing, eager, smart and playful- they are experts in the field and loving at home. Sage is full of energy and loves to play with our kids, but will gladly lay down on the couch and snuggle up during a movie!  Quigley is an avid hunter, with a calm demeaner and a strong prey drive.  Both Sage and Quigley are very controllable, well mannered and anxious to please.  Griffs are quick-witted, independent and extremely athletic!  Most Griffs are medium-sized, usually between 50-70 lbs, all-purpose gundogs standing no higher than 24 inches at the shoulder. They're known for an extremely harsh and bristly coat that gives them a natural, unkempt appearance.  Sage has a very wiry coat, while Quigley's fur is soft and fluffy.  The typical color is steel gray with brown markings, a full mustache and fluffy eyebrows that frame large, rounded eyes. Griffs are the very picture of an honest, hardworking sporting dog, whose handsome looks are the result of a noble and unaffected ruggedness rather than fussy grooming.  They are easy to train and easy to love.

Happy, Healthy Bloodline

Our Griffs are part of our family!

We love, raise, run, train, play, hike and hunt with them.

Our Griffs have exceptional hunting ability, drive, temperament, and are registered with AKC and NAVHDA.  We have completed all recommended health screenings and the OFA certifications are available by request.  We currently feed our dogs and puppies Purina Pro Plan Puppy food which is available to them at all times.  They are a part of our family and are inside/ outside dogs. We encourage you to come meet them if you are interested in purchasing one of our pups or would just like to familiarize yourself with the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Breed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our puppies cost $2000 which includes a $500 deposit.  Pup selection is based on deposit order, once the pups are 5-6 weeks old.  This will allow the pups individual personalities, coat type, and hunting interest to be better identified.  I do not assign pups.  Buyers select them!

Deposits can be made via Cash, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. Please include your name, address, phone, email and gender preference with your deposit.

Yes, we offer a full one year health guarantee for genetic issues (up to $2000, which is more than the cost of the pup).  All of our health documents and pedigrees are available by request and visible on our website.  The health guarantee will be part of the contract.

We will allow our puppies to go home with their new owners at around 8-12 weeks of age, once they are fully weaned and have had time to mature and socialize with their litter mates.  We can coordinate a date to pick-up your pup or can deliver for a reasonable fee.
